PRE-STAR PROGRAMS

 

PreStar Program: 

The program is open to all skaters that are at the CanSkate Stage 4 and 5 level who are interested in figure skating.

The PreStar Program is available to those who have a desire to further their Figure Skating skills, and is intended to provide both the skater and the parent with an “Introduction to Figure Skating”.

The program consists of a 50minute CanSkate session followed by a 30minute group session.

CanSkate allows the skaters to continue working on their basic and advanced skating skills while earning ribbons and badges.

The PreStar group session offers group lessons introducing the skaters to figure skating skills and elements.

Coaching fees for CanSkate and the PreStar group sessions are included in the registration fees.

Coaching fees for any additional private lessons are invoiced directly to the parent by their coach. A list of coaches is provided below and on the Club website.

 

PreStar Privates: 

This is part of the PreStar Program.

This session is intended to provide both the skater and the parent with an “Introduction to Figure Skating”. Skaters will work on their own or in small groups with their coach. Skaters must have an individual coach before starting this program.

Private lessons are arranged with an individual coach prior to the start of the session. If you do not have a coach, please contact the club. 

The program registration fees cover the cost of the ice only.

Coaching fees for any additional private lessons are invoiced directly to the parent by their coach. A list of coaches is provided below and on the Club website.

 

PreStar Group Program – April Only: 

Note: This April Only program is different from the Pre-Star program that is offered during the winter session. Separate registration is required for this April Only program.

The program is open to all skaters that are at the CanSkate Stage 4 and 5 level who are interested in figure skating.

The PreStar Program is available to those who have a desire to further their Figure Skating skills, and is intended to provide both the skater and the parent with an “Introduction to Figure Skating”.

The program consists of a 45minute group lesson followed by a 15minute individual practice/private lesson time.

The PreStar group session offers group lessons introducing the skaters to figure skating skills and elements.

Coaching fees for the PreStar Group Program – April Only are included in the registration fees.

Coaching fees for any additional private lessons are invoiced directly to the parent by their coach. A list of coaches is provided below and on the Club website.
